Brach Eichler LLC is a law firm headquartered in Roseland, New Jersey, with additional offices in New York City and West Palm Beach, Florida. The firm was established in 1967. It serves a diverse clientele, including healthcare providers, corporations, and individuals, across various practice areas.[1]

History

The firm was founded in 1967 by William Brach, Burton Eichler, and Paul Rosenberg as Brach Eichler Rosenberg Silver. Former Managing Partner Alan R. Hammer joined Brach Eichler in 1970. It was renamed Brach Eichler Rosenberg Silver Bernstein & Hammer in 1974, and again in 1984 to Brach Eichler Rosenberg Silver Bernstein Hammer & Gladstone PC with the inclusion of named tax partner Stuart Gladstone.[1]

From its earliest days, the firm focused on building strong client relationships and offering legal advice that is practical, creative, and responsive to business needs. In the early 1970s, Burt Eichler helped transform New Jersey’s healthcare landscape by guiding the licensing of the state’s first non-hospital-owned dialysis center, MRI, ambulatory surgery center, and lithotripter. He was also the first attorney in the state to represent a hospital’s medical staff, establishing a long-standing focus on healthcare representation.[2]

Following its move from East Orange to Roseland, the firm joined WolfBlock Schorr & Solis-Cohen LLP in 2003. When WolfBlock dissolved in 2009, the attorneys in the Roseland office re-formed Brach Eichler as an independent firm.[3]

Today, Brach Eichler has over 90 attorneys and is recognized for its strength in healthcare, real estate, litigation, tax, and trusts and estates. Its attorneys are frequently acknowledged in Chambers USA[4], Best Lawyers in America[5], and New Jersey Super Lawyers[6] for the quality of their work and client commitment.

The firm also serves clients in corporate transactions and financial services, labor and employment, personal injury, criminal defense and government investigations, environmental and land use, family law, intellectual property and IT, cannabis law, real estate tax appeals, construction law, and alternative dispute resolution. Brach Eichler is regularly ranked among New Jersey’s Top 40 law firms by the New Jersey Law Journal.[7]
