Borwat is a small village of 401 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Borwat depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Borwat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Borwat's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03433700. The area of Borwat is segregated as 308 hectares irrigated area, 15 hectares unirrigated, the 46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Borwat is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1805 and has total administration over 391 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
