Borwaniya is a small village of 337 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Borwaniya depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Borwaniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Borwaniya's pin code is 327031[4], and village code is 03459900. The area of Borwaniya is segregated as 27 hectares irrigated area, 132 hectares unirrigated, the 38.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
