Borwa is a small village of 1046 hectares in Bhim Tehsil in Rajsamand district, is known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh of Mewar in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Borwa depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Borwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Borwa's pin code is 305901[4], and village code is 02956100. The area of Borwa is segregated as 16 hectares irrigated area, 87 hectares unirrigated, the 168.81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 426.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Borwa is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1321 and has total administration over 298 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Rajsamand to sell ghee and make their living.
