Bornari is a small village of 497 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bornari depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bornari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bornari's pin code is 306103[4], and village code is 02444200. The area of Bornari is segregated as 217 hectares irrigated area, 144 hectares unirrigated, the 92.19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 44 hectare area not available for cultivation.
