Borda is a small village of 758 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Borda depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Borda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Borda's pin code is 327021[4], and village code is 03382300. The area of Borda is segregated as 36 hectares irrigated area, 492 hectares unirrigated, the 47 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 131 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Borda is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3753 and has total administration over 812 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
