Borcharnan is a small village of 1018 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Borcharnan depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Borcharnan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Borcharnan's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02195400. The area of Borcharnan is segregated as 73 hectares irrigated area, 924 hectares unirrigated, remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Borcharnan has One post office (Bore Charnan B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service.
