Boothiya is a small village of 2499 hectares in Ramsar Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Boothiya depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Boothiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Boothiya's pin code is 344501[4], and village code is 02236100. The area of Boothiya is segregated as 2205.49 hectares unirrigated, the 210.91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 82.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Boothiya is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1262 and has total administration over 229 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell carpet making and make their living.
