Boobkiya is a small village of 916 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Boobkiya depends on Vijainagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 181.88% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Boobkiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Boobkiya's pin code is 305622[4], and village code is 02560900. The area of Boobkiya is segregated as 245.39 hectares irrigated area, 373.48 hectares unirrigated, the 158.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 138.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Vijainagar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
