Bonada is a small village of 4716 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bonada depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bonada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bonada's pin code is 345026[4], and village code is 02059300. The area of Bonada is segregated as 21 hectares irrigated area, 2129 hectares unirrigated, the 1910 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 289 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bonada is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 911 and has total administration over 152 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell ghee and make their living.
