Bokhara is a small village of 1456 hectares in Gogunda Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bokhara depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bokhara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bokhara's pin code is 313704[4], and village code is 03070300. The area of Bokhara is segregated as 122 hectares irrigated area, 84 hectares unirrigated, the 1103 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 147 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Udaipur to sell juggery and make their living.
