Bogasani is a small village of 386 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bogasani depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 119.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bogasani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bogasani's pin code is 306308[4], and village code is 02390700. The area of Bogasani is segregated as 196 hectares irrigated area, 68 hectares unirrigated, the 103 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19 hectare area not available for cultivation.
