Bodal is a small village of 1724 hectares in Khandar Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bodal depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 12.65% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Bodal is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bodal's pin code is 322001[4], and village code is 01323600. The area of Bodal is segregated as 82.93 hectares irrigated area, 19.66 hectares unirrigated, the 4.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 58.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
