Bochra Hadj Kilani (born 2 April 1979) is a Tunisian architect, urban planner, and academic researcher. She is known for her interdisciplinary research linking sustainable urbanism, digital spatial planning, and artificial intelligence. Kilani is the co-founder of Arch Design Studio and has contributed to more than a dozen scientific publications on tactical urbanism, Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks (KAN), and data-driven urban analysis.
Education
Kilani earned her National Diploma in Architecture in 2005 and completed a Master of Urbanism in 2013, both at the National School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tunis (ENAU). She defended her PhD in Urban Planning in 2025 with highest distinction.
Career
Kilani began her professional career in 2005 and co-founded the architectural firm Arch Design Studio (ADS) in 2006. She has designed several public facilities, schools, civic centers, and residential developments across Tunisia. She is also active in academia, teaching urban history and theory and advising on research in spatial computing and digital urbanism.
Research and Publications
Bochra Hadj Kilani’s work bridges urban studies with artificial intelligence, focusing on sustainable transitions, event-driven regeneration, and digital infrastructures.
