Bob Zabek (born July 15th 1981 in Wels/Austria) is an Austrian guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Having started to learn the guitar at the age of 12 he rapidly developed his skills and won national musical contests at age 14 and 15. One year study at Hogeschool Voor Muziek En Dans in Rotterdam/Niederlande. Two years freelancer in Vienna. Since 2008 instrumental music for theater performances in Austria. Lots of live concerts, some of them documented as videos. Bob is also famous for his one man shows (bedroom / kitchen recordings) and can frequently be found jamming spontaneously at the shores of the Danube in Linz.
Musical focuses: Blues, Funk, Rock, 60s, 70s, Avantgarde Guitar.
Bob Zabek has been called one of the best living guitarist of the world, alongside celebrities like Paco de Lucia or Steve Vai.
