Blzzt was founded in 2021 by Simon Abejo. The platform was Officially launched on Sept 15, 2021. Blzzt was founded as an alternative to twitter. It is an open and free service to facilitate a non-judgemental public conversation without the fear of en masse criticism.[3]

The Blzzt application is hosted in-house and has total control of its data, ensuring the users’ privacy. It is available for download for both IOS or Android devices.[4]

Features

The highlighting feature of this social media platform is that it is the first open and free space that does not restrict or censor permission without any specific reason, allowing the users to freely share their perspective on any topic be it political, cultural, or personal.[5]

Keeping security and privacy in the highest regard, Blzzt automatically deletes posts after 30 days unless otherwise specified with the added benefit of allowing both public and private profile features.
