Bluum is a North American technology company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ Founded in 1946, the company has rapidly emerged as an award winning company in North America in the educational tech industry, specializing in IT consulting and IT services for educators.

Known for its commitment to create tech-savvy educational environments for all learners, Bluum has been at the forefront of creating innovative educational spaces for all learning spaces. They also provide support in grant writing and technical fleet management.

History

Founded in 1946 in Phoenix, AZ. Bluum now employs between 500-1,000 employees in the United States and Canada.

Bluum has eight office locations within North America (United States and Canada). In 2022 Bluum was ranked number 18 on Arizona’s Fastest Growing Company List and earned the number nine position on the Top 50 Private Companies list for the 2022 Phoenix Business Journal’s ACE Awards.

In 2014, H.I.G Capital invested in Bluum and now includes the company in the H.I.G Capital portfolio.[1]

In April 2019, Erez Pikar[2] led the merger of two edtech providers, Troxell Communication Inc. (dba Bluum), and CDI Dallas LLC, Integrated AV Systems, LLC, LifeSpan International Inc. – merged and became Trox.[3][4]

In mid-2021, Tierney Brothers joined forces with Trox and overnight, the company became the nation’s largest education technology catalyst and went to market as Trox + Tierney.[5]

They provide an all-in-one approach to servicing their clients, from quoting a project to providing environmentally friendly tech recycling programs to keep customer's technical equipment current.

Recognition and Awards

In 2022 Bluum Named to Inc. 5000’s List of Fastest-Growing Companies in the Southwest (USA).[6] Bluum also earned recognition on the CRN, a brand of The Channel Company’s 2022 Tech Elite 250 list for earning the highest level of technical certifications from leading technology suppliers.
