Blonde Bones is an American quartet based in Nashville Tennessee. The band was founded at the University of Tennessee| University of Tennessee by Christian Barnett(voice, guitar) and Joe Reb(bass). Daniel Ryan(drums) and Jacob Carey(guitar, keys) later joined the band, and in 2020 they released their first EP Hiding Out.[1] In July 2023 the band released their first full album New Animals under the indie label The Record Machine[2]
Musical Style
The Blonde Bones play lyrical psychedelic cowboy rock reminiscent of Kurt Vile, Rilo Kiley, and Deer Tick. They have also been described as indie pop with emotionally subversive lyrics.[3]
