Blessing Njoh is an Engineer, a social media analyst/critic, a wife and a mother of two.

She resides in the Netherlands since the year 2002, where she acquired a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) and an Honours degree in MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul).

Her childhood dream was to become an aviator, thereby following in the foorsteps of her father who worked in the Aviation sector for almost 3 decades. From age 10, Blessing regularly visited the international airport where het father worked and so got exposed to the world of aircraft and ground/flight operations.[1]

After she relocated to the Netherlands, her childhood obsession for airplanes transitioned to fascination and she desperately desired to become a pilot. After many years of pre-education and certification, she embarked on taking flight classes.[2] Unfortunatley, due to a number of legal restrictions, she was compelled to make the switch to Aeronautical Engineering.

In 2007, she gained admission to study Aviation Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam. During her studies, she worked part time in the role of a Technical Mathematics tutor. Her tutees were 1st year Aviation students that she assisted with additional lectures and examination training. Before Blessing graduated from college, she did her internships at some of the country's landmark organisations such as the Dutch Aerospace Laboratory (NLR), as well as at Fokker Aerostructures.

For her Honours programme, Blessing partnered with Swiss AviationSoftware, a Switzerland-based company. There, she joined forces with a co-student to develope a concept Graphic User Interface for the company's AMOS system called "Portable Aid For Maintenance Engineers in Line Operations".

After she graduated in 2011, Blessing's professional career kicked off with her first official post-school employment at KLM-EPCOR, where she worked for a couple of years as a Shop Engineer before advancing to other organisations like NedTrain, BAM, Alliander just to mention a few. Blessing currently works as a Maintenance Engineer at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam.

Asides being a technical professional, Blessing has an uncanny passion for entertainment. Blessing has been active in the showbiz and entertainment scene from the age of 17. She started her modelling career by enrolling with a modelling agency called "Modella". At that agency, Blessing was management and trained in etiquettes, public speaking and presentation, runway catwalk and so on. During the time she specnt in the entertainment industry, she featured in a nollywood home video, she ushered at public and private events, and she also participated in various beauty pageants: Miss Apapa, Queen of Lagos, Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MNET Face of Africa, Miss Commonwealth, and the Miss Diamant Nederland contest.

In 2013, Blessing won the "Christian Woman In Media Award". In 2014, she was nominated in two categories at the African Diaspora Merit awards and in 2023, she made the list of 100 Inspiring Africans In The Netherlands.

With all the experience she gathered in the modelling and beauty pageant arena, Blessing went on to becoming the National Director of The Miss Globe Netherlands, The Miss Globe Cabo Verde and The Miss Globe Cameroon beauty pageants from the year 2015 till the year 2021. These pageants were held in Canada and Albania. In her role as National Director, Blessing succeeded in placing these three countries on the world map.

Blessing was contracted by the organizers of Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam. She was appointed as their official Events Coordinator from 2014 to 2017. During that time, Blessing and the AFWA team were invited by the Vice President of Equatorial Guinea to plan and organise the Africa Fashion Week Malabo event.

Outside of organising and coordinating events, Blessing is also an influencer who has worked with brands like Calvin Klein, Facetheory, Afrochic Empire, and others. The highlight of Blessing's social media presence is anchoring (red carpet) interviews with with various Nollywood / Ghanaian big wigs like Ramsey Nouah, Aki & Pawpaw, Lilian Bach, Seun Kuti, John Dumelo, Joselyn Dumas, Shirley Frimpong-Manso, not forgetting artisits like Bracket from Nigeria, dutch rapper Yes-R, Cameroonian singer Lady Ponce, and the list goes on.

Blessing aspires to excel in her chosen career paths, supporting her husband to expand their real estate business. Beyond all things, Blessing is committed to to raising her children to be impeccable examples in the society, while not relenting to instil in them the spirit of giving back.

Blessing is a source of inspiration to young people trying to find their bearing in life.
