Blair Emmanuel Sparrow "BE Sparrow(January 13, 1979) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and producer from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He is a lifelong songwriter and master 12 string guitar player. A hook writer known for his earworms and anthems, ballad songs and singalongs with amazing 12 string riffs. He was discovered and encouraged to record by his best friend and bandmate John Donovan after hearing some of the new songs he was writing. He is the nephew of Canadian folk icon Allister Macgillvray and cousin of the award winning The Cottars. BE Sparrow his debut EP was recorded at Lakewind Sound Studios and engineered and co-produced by Mike Sheppy Sheppard and Fred Lavery. The bands following is referred to as The Birdnation.
