Blaine Lourd is an American entrepreneur and financial advisor known as the founder and co-CEO of investment services firm, LourdMurray.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and education

Blaine was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana.[5][6] He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1985.[7][8]

Career

Blaine started his Wall Street career at E.F. Hutton in 1987 and worked at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Dean Witter, Oppenheimer and A.G. Edwards, before founding his own investment services firm, LourdMurray in 2006.[5] The company was founded in 2006 with headquarters located at Beverly Hills, California.[9] His notable clients include an American actor, Matthew McConaughey[10][11] and a rock band called The Rolling Stones.[12]

He is also board member of Just Keep Livin' Foundation, a non-profit organization related to after school fitness and wellness programs.[13]

Publications

In August 2015, Blaine published his autobiography named, Born on the Bayou: A Memoir.[14][15][16][17][18] He wrote his life story after undergoing a cardiac bypass surgery in 2007.[19]

Personal life

He is the brother of a talent agent, Bryan Lourd.[19][20][21] Blaine has three sons.[22]
