History

The studio was founded in 2015 and has since developed a number of notable titles including Marvel’s Midnight Suns, The Outer Worlds, Grounded, Back 4 Blood and PGA 2K23.[citation needed]

Since its acquisition in 2017[2] by Virtuos, one of the world's largest independent game developers, Black Shamrock has expanded its co-development capabilities to work on AAA video games with some of the biggest names in the digital entertainment industry.[3]
