Bithora Kalan is a small village of 2440 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bithora Kalan depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 205.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bithora Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bithora Kalan's pin code is 306001[4], and village code is 02442300. The area of Bithora Kalan is segregated as 395 hectares irrigated area, 387 hectares unirrigated, the 1351 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 307 hectare area not available for cultivation.
