Bishar is a small village of 131 hectares in Sikanderpur Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bishar depends on Sikanderpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bishar's pin code is 277302[4], and village code is 09121000. The area of Bishar is segregated as , 1 hectares unirrigated area. the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikanderpur (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
