Bishangarh is a small village of 1979 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bishangarh depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 160.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bishangarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bishangarh's pin code is 343042[4], and village code is 02291500. The area of Bishangarh is segregated as 163 hectares irrigated area, 1431 hectares unirrigated, the 268 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 117.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell granite tiles and make their living.
