Bisaraniya is a small village of 611 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bisaraniya depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bisaraniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Bisaraniya's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02256300. The area of Bisaraniya is segregated as 542 hectares unirrigated, the 69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell wood furniture and make their living.
