Bisalwa is a small village of 519 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bisalwa depends on KOTPUTLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bisalwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bisalwa's pin code is 301402[4], and village code is 00875100. The area of Bisalwa is segregated as 204 hectares irrigated area, 87 hectares unirrigated, the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KOTPUTLI and Alwar to sell ghee and make their living.
