Birmi is a small village of 872 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birmi depends on BISSAU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 26.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and One spring. Birmi is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birmi's pin code is 331027[4], and village code is 00676000. The area of Birmi is segregated as 41 hectares irrigated area, 735 hectares unirrigated, the 66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Birmi is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1390 and has total administration over 241 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BISSAU and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
