Birhata is a small village of 242 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birhata depends on BAYANA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Birhata is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birhata's pin code is 321302[4], and village code is 01070800. The area of Birhata is segregated as 108 hectares irrigated area, 105 hectares unirrigated, remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.
