Birgawan is a small village of 247 hectares in Nagar Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birgawan depends on Nagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Birgawan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birgawan's pin code is 321205[4], and village code is 00990900. The area of Birgawan is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 191 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 0.75 hectare area not available for cultivation.
