Birantiya Kalan is a small village of 1831 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birantiya Kalan depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Birantiya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birantiya Kalan's pin code is 306105[4], and village code is 02404500. The area of Birantiya Kalan is segregated as 475.8 hectares irrigated area, 1250 hectares unirrigated, the 21.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 84.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.
