Kattadiyil (born December 25, 1973) is a distinguished leader with a 25-year career marked by excellence in corporate governance, project development, re-engineering restructuring, fund management, and private equity funding. He presently holds the position of Director & Member Secretary at the Centre for Management Development (CMD) in Thiruvananthapuram, an autonomous body under the Kerala government. With a remarkable background across diverse sectors, Dr. Kattadiyil has made substantial contributions to infrastructure development, capital markets, and insolvency bankruptcy.
Early life and education
CA. Dr. Binoy J. Kattadiyil boasts an impressive academic journey, holding qualifications in diverse fields. He earned a Higher Doctorate of Science (DSc) in Macroeconomics Management from Westminster University, a PhD in Fund Governance from Bharathiar State University, and is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also holds the title of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in the USA. Dr. Kattadiyil further achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Strategies from Bharathidasan State University and holds Master's degrees in Economics Planning and Commercial Securities.

Dr. Binoy J. Kattadiyil's career began as an Auditor with Rao & Co., Chartered Accountants in Chennai from 1994 to 1997. He later served as a Business Manager for Wintech Computers Pvt. Ltd in Mumbai from 1997 to 2002. His journey then led him to Dubai, UAE, where he worked as a General Manager for Opportunity Holdings LLC until 2005. Notably, he served as Director of Development Finance at Kerzner International for the Atlantis, The Palm Development project in Dubai from 2005 to 2010. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Director of Special Projects at John Buck/Emirates Advanced Investments in Abu Dhabi from 2010 to 2011.

He has published over 50 articles in Scopus/UGC approved international journals during his Higher Doctor of Science (DSc) period[4][5][6], as well as 10 articles in UGC-approved international journals during his PhD period. In addition to his numerous journal publications,he has also authored three books[7][8]on Fund Management Strategies, Business Restructuring and Re-engineering and Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process.
