Bill Lee is an American venture capitalist, computer scientist and entrepreneur. He co-founded Craft Ventures, where he currently serves as the co-chairman.[1][2][3][4]

Early life

Lee has married Al Gore's daughter Sarah Gore in the year of 2007 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.[5][6][7][8]

Career

Lee sold his first company, Remarq, to Critical Path for $265 million in March 2000, before the market crashed. He is a limited partner in at least five venture capital funds. He has also been building a portfolio of individual investments during the past five years.[9][10]

Investing

Lee has made investments in numerous companies, like Yammer, AngelList, Tesla, and SpaceX. He also co-founded a new mobile app startup, Twist, which is seeking to run in the background and send messages between people who are going to meet.[11]
