Bikrant Tiwary

Bikrant Tiwary (born on 31st July 2003) is an ECO entrepreneur, a Social Innovator and an Impact Investor towards the society. Currently, he serves as an Eco Entrepreneur. He was the former Global CEO of Grow Trees[1] and the National Sales Head of GiveIndia[2]. He is also a alumini of IIM Calcutta and a very active member of Joy of giving week. He also attended an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, Boston. Even after having a good corporate life as the National Head at Give India he quit his corporate career in 2013 and started taking initiatives towards social and environmental benefits.

Early Life

Bikrant Tiwary was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on 31st July 2003. He is the son of Anil Tiwary an employee of Tata Steel. He had his early life and education in Jamshedpur and later shifted to Mumbai for better career opportunities. From his childhood he was attracted towards nature. He continued taking part in environment related activities. He was an active member of society and he also actively participated in the Joy of Giving week.

Career

In 2002, after attending his Masters in Commerce from Ranchi University[3], he served as a senior branch manager in Bharti Axa General Insurance Company. Later, after attending an Executive MBA program from IIM Calcutta, he joined as the National Sales Head in GiveIndia. In 2013, he initiated his aim being a social activist and joined as the CEO of Grow trees. Serving in the company for nearly 10 years he planted millions of trees and that too providing employment to hundreds of people. Currently he is serving as an Eco Entrepreneur, Supporting and incubating new environment based projects and companies.
