Bijori Kalan is a small village of 1279 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bijori Kalan depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bijori Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bijori Kalan's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03519500. The area of Bijori Kalan is segregated as 421 hectares unirrigated, the 114 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 434 hectare area not available for cultivation.
