Bijliyawas is a small village of 805 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bijliyawas depends on Marwar Junction, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bijliyawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Bijliyawas's pin code is 306001[4], and village code is 02416500. The area of Bijliyawas is segregated as 42 hectares irrigated area, 127 hectares unirrigated, the 577.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 59 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Marwar Junction and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
