Big Ewan is an American-born rapper who is considered the key innovator and leader of the Nu-Experimental movement. He's best known for his songs Booty Cheeks and YOU RUINED IT, however he has released many other highly acclaimed songs. His music style varies throughout projects, however it's always layered in some level of irony, wether it be the highly repetitive trap anthems, or the complex and surreal progressive rap songs.
In December of 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Big Ewan began appearing in discord talent shows performing his unreleased music, the audiences loved his energy and style. On March 18th, 2022, Big Ewan released, Booty Cheeks, marking his first single on Spotify and Apple Music. This song had a great initial reception, being an anthem to the youth, he later followed it up with Rico Smells Like A Cheeto and Wut Wut Weiner, in the summer of 2022. Big Ewan's largest hit, YOU RUINED IT, has been featured in Spotify discover playlists, alongside artists like Crazy Frog and Gummibär.
Early Life
Big Ewan was born in Fullerton, California on August 19th, 2008, though his parents are unknown, it's believed he was an orphan from the age of 3. Big Ewan and his brother—and now main producer and manager—Blue Ballsack started working together on music at a young age, they would often sing a cappella and perform magic tricks on the side of the road for spare change, they would use their earned money to buy cheap microphones and midi controllers. Later, their cousin Lil Miyagi would join them in their musical career, they became obsessed with rap music as a trio, especially with artists like Lil B, Tom Macdonald, and Flyysouljia. These obsessions proved to be great influences in their music styles.
