Bhuwasa is a small village of 706 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhuwasa depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhuwasa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhuwasa's pin code is 327021[4], and village code is 03388000. The area of Bhuwasa is segregated as 163 hectares irrigated area, 80 hectares unirrigated, the 146 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 262 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
