Bhuwana is a small village of 21742 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhuwana depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhuwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bhuwana's pin code is 345034[4], and village code is 02028300. The area of Bhuwana is segregated as 10 hectares unirrigated, the 19050 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2682 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaisalmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
