Bhurkiya Khurd is a small village of 361 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhurkiya Khurd depends on Bari Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhurkiya Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhurkiya Khurd's pin code is 312404[4], and village code is 03646300. The area of Bhurkiya Khurd is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 238 hectares unirrigated, the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.
