Bhumari is a small village of 215 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhumari depends on Bakani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 49.02% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhumari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhumari's pin code is 326022[4], and village code is 04028500. The area of Bhumari is segregated as 74.31 hectares irrigated area, 35.97 hectares unirrigated, the 43.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 60.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bakani and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
