Bhumara is a small village of 535 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhumara depends on Bakani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 183.98% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhumara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhumara's pin code is 326022[4], and village code is 04028600. The area of Bhumara is segregated as 183.98 hectares irrigated area, 148.5 hectares unirrigated, the 77.53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 125.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhumara is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1247 and has total administration over 262 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bakani and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
