Bhawanipura is a small village of 1107 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhawanipura depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 109.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhawanipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhawanipura's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02698900. The area of Bhawanipura is segregated as 291 hectares irrigated area, 122 hectares unirrigated, the 165 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 220 hectare area not available for cultivation.
