Bhatiwar is a small village of 584 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhatiwar depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 387.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bhatiwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhunjhunu to sell ghee and make their living.
