Bhaloo Kalan is a small village of 2833 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhaloo Kalan depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhaloo Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhaloo Kalan's pin code is 342025[4], and village code is 01978400. The area of Bhaloo Kalan is segregated as 1771 hectares unirrigated, the 40 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1022 hectare area not available for cultivation.
