Bhalgaon is a small village of 2415 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhalgaon depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhalgaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bhalgaon's pin code is 344706[4], and village code is 02271300. The area of Bhalgaon is segregated as 42.67 hectares irrigated area, 1192.53 hectares unirrigated, the 953.43 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 226.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.
