Bhakrod is a small village of 3739 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhakrod depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhakrod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bhakrod's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01813800. The area of Bhakrod is segregated as 8 hectares irrigated area, 3047.89 hectares unirrigated, the 41 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 642 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
