Bernadette Banner (born 1994/1995 (age 28–29)[2]) is a New York City based dress historian and YouTuber who is known for reconstructing clothing, ranging from the early Medieval era to World War I, but primarily on the Victorian era.[3][4] She has especially focused on the lack of quality in modern fast fashion.[5] She is also known for sewing using Original Practice, the art of crafting clothes using historically informed methods.[2][6]
In a notable incident, one of her hand-made dresses was poorly copied and sold by an online company for a fraction of the cost that Banner made it.[7]
