Bergen Reilly (born May 26 2005) is an American volleyball player who is currently a setter at the University of Nebraska.[1]

Career

High School

Reilly played for O'Gorman High School, and won back-to-back state championships in 2020 and 2021[2]. She was a three-time Gatorade South Dakota Player of the Year.[2]

College

Reilly enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in January 2023, one semester early[3], along with four other freshmen on the team. She led the offence as a freshman, finishing the regular season with over 1000 assists[4]. Alongside her team, Reilly won the 2023 Big Ten Championship[5] and was a runner-up in the NCAA national championship in Tampa. She also played at Memorial Stadium for "Volleyball Day in Nebraska" which set the global attendance record for a women's sporting event.

In her freshman season, she was selected as the Big Ten Setter of the Year.[4] Reilly was the first-ever freshman to win this award. In the Big Ten, Reilly was also named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Conference Freshman Team. She was selected for the AVCA North all-region team alongside five of her teammates, and earned Second-Team All-American honours.[4]

International

Reilly was called up to the U.S. Women's National Team for the Pan American Final Six in 2022 where the team won a silver medal. She appeared in 11 sets, making two starts.[1]

Reilly has played for the USA Volleyball Under-19 and Under-18 Girls Teams. In 2022, she won the Best Setter Award at the Pan-American Cup, where the team won Gold.[1]
