Berawas Kalan is a small village of 180 hectares in Kotkasim Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Berawas Kalan depends on TIJARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 32.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Berawas Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Berawas Kalan's pin code is 301707[4], and village code is 00787200. The area of Berawas Kalan is segregated as 160 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
